Primary Function
A Manager - Processing will supervise their Team on daily workflow and pipeline management. The Manager will facilitate communication between Sales, Title Companies, Vendors, and other third-party companies connected to the transaction. They will ensure all loan conditions are reviewed by their Team in a very timely manner. In addition, it is their responsibility to perform audit functions on their employee’s loan files. It is also expected that each Manager assume a leadership role among the Processors while fostering a quality environment, stimulating production, and promoting an efficient loan manufacturing process. They will also work closely with our internal departments: Underwriting, Secondary, Closing and Post-Closing.
Principal Duties
Manage pipeline capacity & assign new loans to current TeamDirectly supervise a team of 2-10 ProcessorsEnsure proper quality, efficiency, and production from their TeamWork closely with Sales to maintain pipeline movement Process loans as necessary to assist with any pipeline overflowFacilitate training of new employeesAudit files for compliance throughout the loan process: RESPA/GFE, all applicable State/Federal tests, TILA & other required state specific disclosures.Review loans for technical accuracy prior to delivery to Underwriting for Clear to CloseConduct regular Team meetings with staffEducation and Experience Requirements
College Degree, Business or Finance preferred3+ years of Processing/Operations experience bachelor’s degreeKnowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements
