**Job Description:**
We are searching for the best talent for a Manager Product Communications to be in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.
Purpose: This strategic and dynamic Manager will lead Communications and Public Affairs (CPA) efforts for the Commercial organization in Puerto Rico (PR). Candidate will conceptualize, develop and implement integrated external and internal communications campaigns across three therapeutic areas (Oncology, Immunology and Neuroscience) and their aligned Centers of Excellence (Strategic Customer Group, Patient Experience and Customer Solutions, Medical Affairs, and Strategy Analytics and Transformation) in the local market. The role will also serve as a critical member of the PR Leadership Team!
You will be responsible for:
External communications:
+ Develop and implement branded and unbranded public relations strategies to promote product portfolio and enhance brand reputation and public perception.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media outlets, and influencers to secure media coverage.
+ Develop and execute press releases, spokesperson training, media kits, media briefings and events, speeches, articles, and other PR-related activities
Internal communications
+ Consult on development of integrated communications plans across the PR Leadership Team and advise on self-serve playbooks, tools and templates to drive consistent and connected messaging.
+ Lead development and execution of PR All Hands meetings, PR newsletter and General Manager executive communications.
Executive communications:
+ Serve as a trusted and knowledgeable advisor to leaders of business units and functional teams in Puerto Rico.
+ Develop and drive targeted external opportunities (social media, earned media, industry events) for key PR Leadership Team members that align with strategic priorities.
Issues and crisis management:
+ In conjunction with CPA and Puerto Rico Campus leadership, support crisis communication efforts, preparing and ensuring approvals of statements, and managing public responses to mitigate reputational risks.
Measurement and analytics
+ Leverage J&J IM tools and templates to measure and analyze internal and external activations and messages to demonstrate progress to achieving business objectives and to implement areas of continuous improvement.
Administrative:
+ Manager agency partnerships and contracting.
+ Oversees approval processes of materials (iMR)
+ Budget tracking of projects
Qualifications:
+ A minimum of a bachelor's degree
+ 6+ years of experience in communication, business or related field
+ Excellent English and fluent Spanish language skills
+ Demonstrated ability to craft compelling stories, with superior written, oral and visual communication abilities
+ Strong media engagement skills
+ Demonstrated analytic ability
+ Experience managing agencies and budgets
+ Excellent judgment
+ High level of professional maturity and ability to work effectively across levels, functions, regions, backgrounds – particularly, providing counsel to senior management
