You must be able to decipher wants, needs and desires in this space to mastermind a product roadmap and ultimately turn that into epics for a software development team. You will need to combine customer needs, competitive differentiators, and governmental regulations to turn functional specifications into next-generation business services. A Manager, Product Management will collaborate with Paycor's Sales Marketing and Support teams to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met, and that product and marketing efforts are aligned with Paycor's overall strategy and goals. We work in Agile teams so it's important that you like to move fast and use logic and strategy to distill complex problems into simple user stories. Our HR, payroll, tax and timekeeping software are cloud-based so SaaS experience is important. . As a Manager, Product Management you are critical to driving the business and our people therefore you must be entrepreneurial and innovative: we need you to make us win! We need you to recruit, develop and promote our best and brightest.   Duties and Cor Responsibilities • Create the 1-2 year vision and product roadmap; align the Scrum team to the vision • Develop the business case for major product investments with an eye to what differentiates us in the Tax space • Act as or work closely with the Product Managers and Product Owner(s) to ensure user stories reflect the roadmap vision • Manage key initiatives supporting various product suites • Manage the coordination and analysis of in-depth market research to understand customer behavior, product satisfaction, product competition and emerging business opportunities • Partner with our clients to understand their user experience and data needs, ultimately identifying priorities for the roadmap • Act as the subject matter expert for assigned products and create documentation when needed (epics, user stories, user guides, release communication, technical and sales specs) • Measure the value of product based on revenue, costs to support, adoptions and impact to net promoter score. • Support marketing and sales with clear and consistent market messages and sales tools • Ensure sales force and client service representatives understand products • Analyze and negotiate potential external 3rd party and licensing partnerships that fit Paycor’s product and business models • Coach, develop and performance manage direct reports and facilitate their career development • Recruit, interview and hire new team members • Support the team with resource management by working with other managers to ensure teams have the right resources at the right time.   Requirements   To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Four year degree in business, software development or a related field • 5 or more years of experience in product management for a software company • 5 or more years of experience building products in a SaaS environment • Strong knowledge of payroll and tax, specifically tax related compliance • A proven leader, able to influence at levels of the organization • Some experience in an Agile environment • Some experience in SaaS company preferred • Strong technology background and proven aptitude for staying current with latest developments in technology and payroll/tax/HR solutions • Some travel may be required   Paycor Total Rewards   We are proud to provide best-in-class benefits delivering a personal and professional experience that meets you where it matters most - the well-being of you and your loved ones.
