Manager Product Planning (Remote)

The Manager Product Planning role leads the product planning efforts for the travel and customer support aspects of our GetGoing solution. As a global leader of related key products of the assigned solution line, the role takes full responsibility for the product road maps and their delivery globally, including the development of the go-to-market approach and market penetration. The role partners with and influences stakeholders internally and externally, to identify, shape, and deliver products that focus on increasing commercial opportunities across our client segments.

 

As a Manager Product Planning, you will

Collaborate with the Global business owner to understand business priorities, and high-level requirements and prioritize the solution roadmap Collaborate with the Global and local business owners, Engineering, Customer Acquisition, Customer Success, Customer Support, and Supplier Relations teams to translate high-level requirements into workable epics Provide guidance and direction to the Business Analysts and UX designer to translate epics into detailed development-ready user stories Actively participate in Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Engineering Leads, and Product Delivery meetings with the Engineering team Collaborate with Customer Acquisition, Customer Success, and Customer Support teams to integrate customer feedback into the roadmap in real time Take the initiative to independently discover business logic flaws, data imperfections, and potential product enhancements, and drive continuous improvement of the solution

 

About you

Experience in business travel Strong communication and interpersonal skills. You'll interact with a variety of partners and will need a high level of comfort in communicating with professionals of different backgrounds Competency with Microsoft Office Products, and collaborative software used for projects with remote team members and stakeholders Excellent time-management and project-management skills: you'll be constantly challenged to balance multiple initiatives, projects, and perspectives TMC experience in Operations, Implementations, or Product Management related to a travel booking system  is a plus Knowledge of the European rail market is preferred

At BCD Travel we value you, our culture and success is defined by you. We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Manager Product Planning is between $60,000 and $68,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
