Manager Production Technology

Join our Production Technology and Support team and continue shaping our medical device production of tomorrow.

 

The Production Technology and Support departments are responsible for improvements of existing manufacturing processes, industrialization of new products, as well as online support and maintenance for medical device production. At Wellspect, we are proud to have a highly automated in-house production with chemical processes, multiple transport systems, assembly and packaging lines producing medical devices in large volumes 24/7.

 

Responsibilities:

Leading and developing your team of Process Engineers and Process Managers and Production Documentation Coordinators. Drive and coach your team towards set goals regarding receival of new production processes as well as continuous improvements of existing processes. Guiding and coaching your team during trouble shooting, change control, process validation and process risk management. Build and strengthen the department as a member of the production Technology and Support Participate in cross-functional teams to find efficient ways of working with product and production development and maintenance. Ensuring resource allocation and utilization of team and consultants linked to Wellspect’s business needs

Qualification / Background:

an academic background, preferably in Mechanical/Automation/Industrial Design Engineering or equivalent with experience from production development. 2-3 years of management experience and experience from leading or participating in cross functional teams. proven leadership skills in leading teams and experience in driving change processes within the organization. communicative ability and the ability to coach your employees to achieve our common goals and develop as a person and team. knowledge of automated manufacturing process development knowledge of Digitalization within production, Automation System Design and Risk Management. some experience from testing/validation and quality management processes, preferably within life science or other regulated industry. documentation and communication skills, in English as well as in Swedish.
