Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking a Manager Program Control 3 to support the Poland Business Area as part of the Global Mission Command & Control (GMC2) Operating Unit within our Business Management organization on-site in Huntsville, Alabama.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Oversee the business management activities within a dynamic portfolio of programsManage staffing needs, including: hiring/training/developing employees, assigning work scope to employees, providing daily direction to employees and ensuring employees operate according to company policies and procedures.Interface with a multitude of internal and external customers, including: sector/division/program leadership (e.g. VPs/Directors), government customers, and auditing agencies (e.g. DCMA and Deloitte).Maintain compliance to internal and external policies and procedures (e.g. ANSI/EIA-748 32 guidelines, FAR, SOX, etc.)Assist in financial planning/reporting/analysis, including: profitability assessments, financial forecasting, and cash management.Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) preparation and reviewSupport of pricing and proposal activitiesEnsuring effective compliance with EVMS requirementsDeliver predictable financial performance for monthly and quarterly forecasts as well as against annual operating plan targets.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with 8+ years of industry related experience – OR – a Master’s degree with 6+ years of industry related experience.Prior managerial experience requiredUnderstanding of Earned Value Management System (EVMS).Experience with Earned Value cost/schedule reporting (e.g. IPMRs, IPMDARs, CFSRs, and CCDR/CSDRs).Experience leading teams to successful outcomes.Experience operating within highly compliant business environments (e.g., Earned Value Management, TINA Compliant Cost Estimating, FAR/DFARS required Contracting, CAS, etc.).Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with added emphasis on advanced Excel data analysis competency.Experience in establishing a program baseline or significant experience in developing time phased pricing or estimating forecasts.Prior experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to team and/or management.Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

In-depth knowledge of DOD financial business models.Experience utilizing SAP, Cognos (or related financial software), MPM/Cobra, and wInsightFull working knowledge of Financial Planning to include Annual Operating Plan developmentUnderstanding of DoD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, Commercial contracts, and the FARExperience developing and presenting business strategies, financial information, and risk assessments to leadership teamsExperience interfacing with government audit agencies such as DCMA and DCAA, as well as accounting auditing agencies such as DeloitteActive Secret Clearance

Salary Range: $162,300.00 - $243,500.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
