Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Manager, Programs 3 to join our diverse team of professionals. This leadership position is located in Melbourne, FL.

Candidate will lead the Aircrew Training System and Design Team on a restricted program.  The candidate will be responsible for the planning and execution of the Training System requirements Analysis (TSRA), development of all training courseware, and support the standup and utilization of a LMS/LCMS to support the program.  Successful candidate will develop/manage metrics that drive outcomes for cost/schedule, engage in process improvements, quality of training courseware products and implementation of Instructional System Design (ISD) practices during Training development.  Responsibilities include leading a team to establish, plan, and deliver recommended solutions to functional requirements associated with program and Training System requirements.

Responsibilities include:

Leverage the instructional design (ISD) process to conduct needs assessments, develop learning objectives, design learning content, and measure effectiveness of aircrew trainingContinuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and maintain updated technical informationDevelop task lists, objectives, syllabi and training products according to DoD, USAF and AF Global Strike Command operating instructions and Instructional System Design (ISD)Provide input to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.Create instructional materials and products for technology-based courses - including online, mobile, immersive and performance supportDemonstrate and use effective needs analysis, project management, course development, and evaluation skillsCollaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify specific training needs and develop solutions for satisfying unique skills based training requirements.Cost, schedule, and technical performance for all training aspects of program performance on a EMD-type contract.Leadership of a diverse team in a fast-paced environmentAble to present to all levels of leadership and customersAbility to manage a high performing team of core learning and development professionalsMust be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, weekends and support on-call status when necessary.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree and 10 years (or Bachelor of Science in STEM and 9 years) of related experience as defined below, OR a Master’s degree and 8 years (or Master of Science in STEM and 7 years) of related experience as defined below.Related experience includes professional and/or military experience to include a background in: project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management related functions.Demonstrated hands-on knowledge of IPT/Program Management processes (CAM processes, project planning and scheduling, cost control, change control, EVMS, staffing, coordination and oversight of technical work effort and risk and opportunity management.Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPointMust have an active DoD Secret (or higher) clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation) with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance; must be able to attain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR/SAP) within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.

Salary range: $156,000 - $234,000

Salary Range: $156,000.00 - $234,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
