We are looking for you to join our team as a Manager, Project Management 2 based out of Sunnyvale, CA.

The individual will be responsible for operating in a team environment with operations leadership, manufacturing area management and peer organizations to lead our manufacturing teams to improve operational efficiency, implement optimal solutions and define and implement an integrated workforce development strategy to meet production demand requirements.

The candidate must be knowledgeable of scheduling techniques, resource planning, organizational development, continuous improvement strategies, and financial practices to execute cost and schedule objectives and implement strategic initiatives.

Successful candidates for this position will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communications skills and effective problem-solving capabilities. This position will be responsible for recruiting and mentoring future leaders, directing training and skill development initiatives and promoting engagement and inclusion activities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to influence up and down the chain of command are required, as well as a proven track record of innovation, problem solving and career development.

What you will get to do:

Acts as the key point of contact for senior leadership on Manufacturing labor resource planning and personnel development.Create and lead teams to develop and sustain site training and certification infrastructure.Lead multifunctional teams, including training organization staff, manufacturing area management and technical support staff, to ensure all program and manufacturing goals and objectives are met.Provides oversight and accountability for all related activities in their area to ensure compliance with company objectives and obligations.Understand and report on project status at the required level of detail.Responsible for employee development, performance management and employee engagement activities.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Organizational Development/Operations management or equivalent, OR Master’s degree and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Organizational Development/Operations management or equivalentAbility to obtain a DoD Secret clearanceUS Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in STEM related discipline or MBAExperience developing or leading organizational training programsExperience with labor resource planningPrior Management Experience leading direct reportsWork experience that crosses typical organizational boundariesExperience with continuous improvement and problem-solving tools and techniques 

Salary Range: $129,300.00 - $193,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
