Start dates are determined after funding confirmation.** Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is looking for you to join our team as a **Manager of Project Management 2** based out of the **Melbourne, FL** location. **Due to the nature of the role, an on-site presence is required and cannot be performed remotely.** The position will follow our 9/80 schedule and allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. As a Manager within the Program Operations group, you will provide inputs for a high performing team and will be responsible for executing, monitoring and reporting on the progress of program performance. The qualified candidate will have demonstrated success leading projects within cost and schedule requirements of the program. The position requires a solution-based philosophy and the demonstrated ability to develop practical execution plans in a dynamic and complex environment. Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of solving complex problems through systematic and objective evaluation of information resulting in effective communication, collaboration, and implementation of a strong operational program foundation with a diverse set of internal and external customers and suppliers. Strong leadership characteristics are essential as this role drives strategies to meet or exceed cost, schedule and performance objectives. This position requires a candidate with strong organizational and decision-making skills with the ability to lead in an environment of continuous change. This position requires the ability to report at the Director level including status for Program Integration planning and execution tasks, inputs into recurring Business Unit reporting, and support of EVMS for Program Integration. Finally, **We pioneer:** setting a vision that shapes the future and inspires others.” **Basic Qualifications** : + Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years, or master’s and 6 years’ experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers and/or project management in other industries + 3 years of experience in a Program Management or Program Integration role + Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret Clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company **Preferred Qualifications** : + DoD Top Secret Clearance **Salary Range:** $111,700 - $167,500 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
