Summary
· Manages investigation of consumer fuel quality complaints.
· Manages station field surveillance to ensure product quality and prevent notices of violation.
· Assists with managing response to contamination incidents.
· Manages fuel testing to support Performance Fuels, Customer Service and station operations.
· Manages Sunoco Marcus Hook lab and office facilities
· Manage Quality Assurance technicians
· Manages third party inspection/testing orders
· May also support NASCAR program.
Essential Duties and Responsibility:
· Consumer Fuel Quality Complaints-works with Operations, Product Quality Team members and Maintenance to gather information to determine if Sunoco or Sunoco Dealer or Distributor should reimburse consumer for losses. Provides input to Sunoco Insurance for handling claims.
· Station inspections-manages Quality Assurance technicians and plans surveillance for routine inspections of direct and distributor supplied stations, inspections of stations with suspected contaminated product or stations suspected of cross-hauling product.
· Laboratory – Work with quality technicians to ensure laboratory instrumentation and equipment are being maintained and operated properly.
· Terminal Quality Oversight – Provide product quality guidance and support to Sunoco terminal personnel to ensure necessary quality and regulatory specifications are being met.
· Fuels Testing- manages testing of fuel samples from the Performance Fuels Group and station samples as well as oversight testing of winter diesel samples and terminal samples.
· As needed work with Sunoco NASCAR team to provide current SPCC plans for all tracks and monitor equipment performance.
· As needed work with third party software company used for product Safety Data Sheets.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
Bachelor's degree in technical area such as Engineering, Chemistry or Environmental Science and 8+ years minimum experience in petroleum retail area such as compliance, product quality, product delivery or service station equipment engineering or maintenance. Experience in project management and organizational management. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to influence personnel that employee does not directly supervise. Strong computer skills.Working Conditions:

· Usually, normal office working conditions.
· Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
· Occasional overnight travel may be required.
