Job Description We are seeking a Manager to work collaboratively with a highly talented team to oversee the accounting functions within Restaurant Brands International Inc. ["RBI"] (including iconic brands such Tim Hortons, Burger King, Popeyes and Firehouse). This individual will be a part of the Record to Report Tower in Global Business Services ["GBS"] and will be a critical member of the Company's accounting processes. The role will involve oversight of the Advertising and Gift Card programs and the coordination of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. This position provides the opportunity to gain broad experience in accounting operations, financial reporting and corporate accounting. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic working environment and has a passion for undertaking process improvement projects in a wide spectrum of areas (e.g. IT, Technical Accounting, SOX). Key Responsibilities * Executing month end GL close and internal control processes * Being the key resource bringing together technical accounting, SAP knowledge and internal processes to meet the needs of the business * Preparing analyses and developing processes for the team to record and monitor accounting transactions (e.g. advertising funds, gift cards, company operations etc.) * Reviewing and ensuring timely and accurate completion of balance sheet reconciliations * Working on several important projects collaboratively with cross-functional teams across the company * Preparing statutory financial statements and managing other audit deliverables * Being a key point of contact for external and internal auditors, including coordinating work to be carried out by the auditors (e.g. SOX and Accounting). * Reviewing key monthly deliverables to be provided to the Global Accounting and SEC Reporting teams (e.g. PBCs, Business reports). * Overseeing accounting for company operated restaurants and related projects. Skills and Requirements * Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and/or Controller experience * Previous experience leading a small team, and/or direct reports * Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and working with business groups * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel * Experience with large complex data structures * Experience preparing statutory financial statements and managing other audit deliverables * Located in GTA, able to go on-site 4 days/week beginning November 2025 * SAP and Reporting Tools (Hyperion, OneStream, PowerBI) * Previous experience working at Firms (beneficial for the audit work) * R2R process knowledge null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
