We process, compile, and deliver relevant financial information covering Accounting & Closing, Commercial, Tax and Master Data Services. We deliver maximum value to the business by driving Record-to-Report optimization and digitalization using our entrepreneurial approach. We also support our customers’ current and future business requirements with the help of our high level of process and automation competency.
You’ll make a difference by:
· Defines and Implement countries specific Customs & Governance processes and procedures.
· Managing and liaising with all External & Internal stakeholders for effective implementation of the process
· Provides tailor-made solutions to meet business requirements to become business enablers.
· Close collaboration with Transporters, Freight forwarders, and Customs Brokers round the clock to ensure the shipments are customs cleared and handed over to the transporters effectively & promptly.
· Classification of goods in the correct HS code.
· Supports business with Re-import, Re-Export and Temporary Import of goods.
· Hand on experience of Project Import, Deemed Export, Supplies against EC.
· Attend to customs queries on product classification, valuation or any technical query and support resolution.
· Implements the country specific Customs & Governance processes and procedures.
· Managing and liaising with all External & Internal stakeholders for effective implementation of the process
· Ensure that all internal rules and regulations have complied with law of land.
· Monitors and ensures corrective actions derived from external and internal changing laws, reviews and audits as per countries specific.
· Carries out training and reviews to guarantee adherence to Customs regulations as per countries’ specific rules [ETA, BIS & WPC as per law of land]
· Act as the first line for reply to consultative letters form department.
· Hand on with SEZ / STPI Regulations and Compliance.
· Through working knowledge of Asset Bonding, Debonding.
· Through with TCS and FEMA compliances.
· Working knowledge of DGFT – Foreign Trade Regulations.
Your success is grounded in:
· At least 6 to 10 years of relevant experience
· Bachelor’s in engineering / Bachelor in Science / Commerce streams preferred.
· PG - MBA in Supply Chain Management / International Trade (added advantage)
· Deep knowledge of classification of Materials based on HSN.
· In-depth knowledge of the functioning of STPI and Customs Authorities
· Knowledge of International Treaties and Compliance [SAARC, SAFTA, RCEP, GSP]
· Knowledge of Appeal and litigation process in Customs cases.
