Manager Regional Business Development - Systems

Job Summary

We are seeking a Manager, Regional Business Development to join our Systems Business Unit (BU) at Campus Brabrand, Denmark and become part of the core team driving growth of one of the key BU’s in the Food Ingredients Division. The successful candidate will have a solid technical background combined with strong business acumen ensuring thorough understanding of how key market trends and customer needs translate into food ingredient concepts with solid value propositions. The ability to drive the agenda of the Systems BU in the region and work collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders is a must. Position will report into the Senior Manager, Global Business Development.

Key Responsibilities

Drive regional execution of a key new growth platform in the Systems BU incl. global & regional support on capability build across the value chain and hands-on regional customer execution with Sales, Applications and Regional Product management.Develop new, regional business opportunities to accelerate growth and secure a strong pipeline (medium & long-term) by:Working with the SMGBD and fellow MRBDs to drive cross regional fertilization of local concepts and solutions between regions and across applicationsTranslating the global strategy into regional strategic initiatives and actionsIdentify and translate needs in core & adjacent segments into new competitive value propositions, concepts and ingredient building blocks to guide R&D and Application development efforts

Be the Commercial Lead for Systems on longer-term innovation projectsSupport development and periodic reviews of the Systems strategy

Job Qualifications

Engineering, technical or science degree combined with a degree in business managementSolid technical understanding combined with strong business acumen & strategic mindsetMinimum 5 years’ experience within application, innovation, business development or product managementExperience in food & beverageExcellent communication & influencing skillsPersonal attributes:Team player who collaborates well across functions and businessesTakes ownership of individual & team goals and work streamsWillingness to learn from others and open to new ideasCurious, solution oriented, high energy individual who is comfortable with uncertainty and passionate about the food industry

Travel Required: 50-80 days per year
