The Regional Landscaping Operations Manager provides leadership for an assigned group of Landscaping Managers / Supervisors on behalf of Medxcel at the assigned working location of Central Office - Indianapolis, IN. The Regional Landscaping Operations Manager works with other operational leaders to develop, implement, and monitor goals, policies, and procedures. It is also responsible for holding the on-site teams accountable for meeting standards, achieving technical service delivery excellence, meeting financial objectives, attaining high customer satisfaction and loyalty, and meeting Medxcel Facilities’ mission in general. The Regional Landscaping Operations Manager will set the strategic direction, define and plan for the achievement of goals and objectives. Responsibilities Operations Support: Manages the development, deployment and utilization of programs and personnel, initiatives and tools to support the responsibilities of Facilities Service Group. Manages team priorities, organizational structure and hiring plans to ensure processes are delivered according to established service level agreements. Serves as relationship leader with other departments at Medxcel, to ensure all escalated issues are resolved; service levels are met / exceeded. Manages operational performance and maintains adherence to established budget guidelines. Assists on-site leadership achieve consistent high performance through the development and execution of controls designed to assist in developing the on-site leadership to better meet their service delivery objectives and create high customer satisfaction. Performs in-depth quality reviews of site operations, using the tools provided by Medxcel Facilities, and establish on-going plans, goals, and objectives, to correct deficiencies and improve performance. Oversees the establishment and approval of annual operating and capital budgets and monitor on-going financial performance against those budgets among assigned facilities. Customer Relationship Management / Continuous Improvement: Communicates and connects with Health Ministry Leadership, Landscaping Directors, Landscaping Managers and other applicable parties. Works with team members to collect and analyze reports to identify opportunities for process and service improvement, champion continuous improvement opportunities. Identifies and acts upon ways to improve work processes, enhance quality, productivity, and service levels. Works with team to establish and maintain assigned processes ensuring they are streamlined, efficient, and compliant. Monitors work processes and initiates improvements based upon data measures and continuous improvement practices. Assists on-site management with ensuring the customer’s program understanding, customer satisfaction, strategic partnering, and continuous improvement efforts. Develops and nurtures key customer relationships to create customer create a high degree of loyalty to Medxcel Facilities in addition to local operations. Leadership: Leads a team of on-site leaders across a geographic region with an emphasis on developing existing and future talent, mentoring and inspiring performance, and enabling on-site leaders to succeed. Creates an environment of teamwork and encourage creativity in a culture of continuous change. Continuously improves and updates own leadership and professional skills by working with Talent Services to establish an annual development plan. Manages the professional growth and development of all direct reports. Actively manage staff personnel and assures that each is treated with respect and fairness and that each is provided with tools and knowledge to perform their duties. Provides direction, leadership and support to Regional Landscaping Operations Managers. Innovation and Strategy: Works effectively with Medxcel Facilities executives and other leaders to drive business innovation, service strategies, revenue growth, and continuous improvement processes at the regional level to ensure service excellence. Leads corporate wide and regional strategic initiatives as assigned. Leverages local and regional professional society involvement as a means of promoting and representing Medxcel Facilities within regions or local communities through pre-defined branding and service initiatives. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture or related field required. License/Certification: Valid state driver’s license - required. Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) - preferred. Pesticide certification - preferred. Experience: Five years’ experience in the Landscaping field - required. Three years’ supervisory experience required Three years’ experience in business management, including basic accounting skills - required. Ten years’ experience in the Landscaping field - preferred. Competencies: Candidate must be able to read and write English. Ability to operate a truck and trailer combination proficiently. Strong oral communication skills, job planning skills, and mechanical aptitude are a must. The successful individual will have a working knowledge of standard horticultural practices including paver, pond, low-voltage lighting and irrigation troubleshooting. #MFMBM #MFMLNDSP #IND1
