Reliability, Maintenance, and Engineering (RME) is hiring for a Manager! The Regional Portfolio Manager will be the main RME Point of Contact (POC) and provide RME support for multiple sites. These sites will be part of the Amazon delivery station network.

To that end, Amazon is seeking a disruptive and groundbreaking thinker to provide strategic and tactical leadership over maintenance, repair and vendor management operations to support Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF) across the North American market.
The position will manage multiple complex projects and tasks simultaneously as well as influence, negotiate and develop relationships at all levels of the organization.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Manage all engineering and commissioning of complex projects
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to site teams, vendors and leaders within various Amazon teams across a number of Amazon business units
- Assist in coordinating information between various teams in the organization
- Develop long-term strategies and assisting procurement with negotiations and cost-out initiatives
- Source and hold vendors accountable to established Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and scopes of services
- Manage a team of 10 direct reports
- Travel domestically up to 70% of the time, based on business needs
- Role is open to North East states
Key job responsibilities
This role the candidate will need to understand and demonstrate the ability to build effective relationships with their customer and direct team. Also need to be able to be on-call 24/7 for any issues arising in their area of responsibility.
A day in the life
High travel role working with directs as well as Operations in a fast moving space. Will be holding their team to the KPI metrics and continuing to push to think outside the box.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of employee and performance management experience
- 5+ years of distribution or manufacturing field with equivalent mechanical or electrical field experience
- 7+ years of facilities management, office management, corporate administrative services, or hospitality management experience
- Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon experience
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in design review process to incorporate electrical, mechanical, automation controls solutions to drive equipment reliability and standards
- Experience in automated conveyors systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, blueprint and electrical schematic reading, CMMS programs, preventive maintenance procedures, industrial electrical, industrial controls , industrial electronics
