Manager - Restaurant

Job Purpose
Manage the daily operations of the restaurant and ensure guests receive courteous and efficient five-star service by leading, motivating and coaching Team Members to exceed guests’ expectations.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure the operation runs according to established operating procedures
• Manage the operation cost-effectively and efficiently within budget
• Develop and implement an innovative business strategy to maximise revenue and productivity
• Monitor consumption and maximise capacity of resources and equipment
• Coordinate with the kitchen to design menus and promotions
• Address guests’ requests and handle complaints promptly and to their satisfaction
• Provide supervision, direction and leadership to the management team to achieve department goals
• Oversee operation administration
Competencies and Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ managerial experience in a 4-5 star Western restaurant
Knowledge/Certificates: Excellent product knowledge of international cuisine and wine; basic budgeting and cash handling experience
Education: Secondary school diploma or above; Bachelor degree in hospitality management an advantage
Language Abilities: Fluent spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office
