The Risk Systems and Controls team is responsible for supporting the day to day operations and goals of the Worldwide Risk department. The jobholder's primary function will be the management of the WW Risk Monitoring System (Acquiring) and the supervision of the Business Analysts supporting the WW Risk Monitoring System. 

The jobholder should have strong managerial skills, data analysis skills and a passion for problem solving. 

We are expanding the team so that we can provide greater support to the department and the jobholder will shape this role and the service that we provide.

Essential Responsibilities:

Manage a team of Risk BA’s responsible for the operational support of the WW Risk Monitoring System. 

Ensure system functionality, user support, and training of staff members meets the needs of the WW Risk Team. 

Collaborate with the Risk Leadership and Product to identify, plan, and implement systems upgrades as well as introduction of new replacement systems. 

Manage user identity and access (account creation and deletion, granting and revoking of permissions).

Ensure proper risk system set up and usage related to portfolio conversions and acquisitions.  

Be a leader in Merchant Acquiring fraud operations; fraud strategy and rule writing related to Acquiring Risk Monitoring Systems.  

Conduct regular coaching and performance reviews for all direct reports.

Implement a succession plan and manage and develop talent accordingly.

Other related tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

3+ years of credit, risk or equivalent experience in a related field, or combination of a related degree and experience (Business Analyst in Audit, Fraud or Risk Management, Project Management, Etc.)

2+ years of management experience

Proven background in leading, influencing, and driving change

Understanding of enterprise, network, and system applications related to Acquiring

Excellent knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets, including the importing of data, building of macros and creation of advanced formulas. 

Proven background in data analysis / interrogation / manipulation.

Ability to manage conflicting demands on time and multiple tasks involving multiple co-workers; maintain and exhibit flexibility; work under pressure and meet deadlines. 

Outstanding problem solving and troubleshooting skills, particularly in pressurised situations.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to explain data related processes.

Ability to work independently and responsibly while managing numerous projects.
