Manulife Product Development is seeking a self-motivated and experienced Manager / Senior Manager of Product Development to support the Team Lead on the development and implementation of customer-centric insurance solutions.
Position Responsibilities:
Deliver customer centric insurance solutions by involving our customers, our distribution partners and other stakeholders in our product development processDevelopment, implementation and on-going management of our initiatives and other enhancements that align with our business directions including; detailed product specifications, user and business requirements and output testingCrafting of presentation deck to communicate and facilitate discussion with diverse group of internal stakeholders.Evaluate market and industry trends and product offerings.Assist team lead to meet deliverables required by the project managers and other departments as well as external service providers to ensure our product initiatives and related supports are delivered effectively and meet our customers and stakeholders expectations.Assist team lead in managing governance relating to product development processCollaborate with other teams on cross functional initiatives.Requirements:
Minimum of 8 years of related experienceKnowledge of basic insurance product pricing principles and financial metrics Experience working with multi-channel distribution and multiple product linesStrong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to use rigorous logic and a highly structured approach to solve problems with effective solutions - Insatiable curiosity to learn and a proactive approach to embracing new opportunities, even those outside their comfort zoneAbility to identify and articulate the processes necessary to achieve tasks efficiently and effectively Excellent team playerWhen you join our team:
