Functional Description:

This is a B35 Manager / Senior Manager role within Enterprise Digital & Data Solutions (EDDS) organization. With a focus on products, analytics, data governance and digitization across the board, the EDDS organization creates central, scalable products and customer experiences to help markets across all these priorities. Enterprise Digital & Data Solutions (EDDS) is an innovation engine driving growth & differentiation for American Express in today’s digital world. Our focus is to enrich & govern the data landscape, advance analytics and elevate products to deliver scalable solutions that power AXP to effectively target, acquire and engage prospects and customers across channels globally.

Purpose of the role:

This is a B35 Product Manager / Senior Manager role which will be part of the Enterprise Acquisition Products & Platforms (EAPP) team, within the EDDS organization at American Express. The role will have specific responsibility to define, maintain, evolve, and deliver a suite of products and capabilities that assist in tying the outcomes (typically conversions) to marketing investments, across diverse digital channels. Additionally, you will lead efforts to enable marketers to pay bounties and optimize their investments. Moreover, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a scalable digital product that will facilitate Market Mix Modeling & Analytics in the US and globally.

The role requires a strong background in solutioning & designing digital data products at scale for Acquisition along with exceptional feature prioritization, road mapping and problem-solving skills.

You will work with variety of stakeholders to create and enhance foundational capabilities to modernize and accelerate acquisition growth by providing marketing performance measurement solutions. During this journey you will help define the product vision, strategy, roadmap and growth opportunities

Continually stay abreast of new digital platform trends and customer needs along with changing regulatory, competitive, and technological landscape Your leadership in defining and delivering these products and capabilities will empower marketers to make data-driven decisions, maximizing ROI and driving business growth By enabling bounties and optimizing investments, you will enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of marketing campaigns, resulting in improved conversion rates and customer acquisition Your contribution to delivering a scalable digital product for Market Mix Modeling & Analytics will provide valuable insights and strategic direction, positioning our organization as a leader in the digital marketing industry

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field 6+ years of proven experience in digital product management, preferably within the marketing, advertising or acquisition domain (for Manager) 8+ years of proven experience in digital product management, preferably within the marketing, advertising or acquisition domain (for Sr. Manager)

Skillset Required

Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a track record of driving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Knowledge of Agile processes and principles: backlog refinement, sprint planning, writing user stories, MVP, sprint demos along with product management tools such as Jira or Rally Proficient at investigating customer needs and problems Ability to perform testing using Hive/Python or similar technologies Proven ability to influence without direct authority among peers and with leaders Influence team members with innovative changes and improvements by challenging status quo and demonstrating risk taking Knowledge of digital marketing domain would be a big plus

Responsibilities:

Develop and articulate the strategic vision for the suite of products and capabilities, aligning them with business objectives and customer needs Build strong relationships and collaborate with stakeholders to define product roadmaps and prioritize feature development based on customer needs and business impact Lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of product initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timelines Define product requirements and user stories, working closely with engineering, design, and data science teams to deliver high-quality solutions Oversee the agile development process, providing guidance and support to ensure timely delivery of product increments and enhancements Communicate product updates, milestones, and strategic initiatives to key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in at all levels of the organization Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to product usage, adoption, and customer satisfaction, ensure business continuity and remaining compliant Identify opportunities for product optimization and enhancement based on user feedback, market dynamics, and competitive insights.
