Job Description

The SIOP Manager plays a critical role in manufacturing and supply chain management, ensuring seamless coordination between sales, inventory, and operations. This position requires a proactive approach and an open mindset to support both internal and external customers.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

 

Oversee the entire SIOP process as defined in DDMS, establishing a structured cadence for SIOP meetings, and ensuring alignment across CSC, OEM customers, production, procurement, and other key stakeholders. Collaborate with global teams to gather accurate demand forecasts, continuously improving forecast precision to reflect market conditions. Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to assess capacity, inventory levels, and supply constraints, adjusting plans to optimize reliability and productivity while ensuring smooth production operations Monitor and manage stock levels to meet customer demands without excessive carrying costs. Initiate and oversee scrap postings and WIP inventory audits. Analyze sales trends, production output, and customer demand patterns to support informed planning and operational adjustments. Implement automation/semi-automation (targeting 30% of operational tasks with M4L in Planning), track KPIs (Reliability, Availability, Inventory, Forecast Accuracy, and Operations), and drive continuous efficiency enhancements. Work closely with sales, customer service, production, procurement, project managers, finance, and global planning teams to ensure smooth execution of plans and projects.

 

 

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate should have:

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant field, with strong communication skills. 13+ years of experience in production and materials planning. Preferably, experience in automotive or EMS industries. Hands-on expertise in SAP PP and MM modules. Strong team leadership skills with experience in managing teams.
