Manager - SIOP Requisition ID: 42180 Job Location(s): Oragadam, IN **Job Description** The SIOP Manager plays a critical role in manufacturing and supply chain management, ensuring seamless coordination between sales, inventory, and operations. This position requires a proactive approach and an open mindset to support both internal and external customers. **Job Responsibilities** Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. + Oversee the entire SIOP process as defined in DDMS, establishing a structured cadence for SIOP meetings, and ensuring alignment across CSC, OEM customers, production, procurement, and other key stakeholders. + Collaborate with global teams to gather accurate demand forecasts, continuously improving forecast precision to reflect market conditions. + Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to assess capacity, inventory levels, and supply constraints, adjusting plans to optimize reliability and productivity while ensuring smooth production operations + Monitor and manage stock levels to meet customer demands without excessive carrying costs. Initiate and oversee scrap postings and WIP inventory audits. + Analyze sales trends, production output, and customer demand patterns to support informed planning and operational adjustments. + Implement automation/semi-automation (targeting 30% of operational tasks with M4L in Planning), track KPIs (Reliability, Availability, Inventory, Forecast Accuracy, and Operations), and drive continuous efficiency enhancements. + Work closely with sales, customer service, production, procurement, project managers, finance, and global planning teams to ensure smooth execution of plans and projects. **Background & Skills** The ideal candidate should have: + A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant field, with strong communication skills. + 13+ years of experience in production and materials planning. + Preferably, experience in automotive or EMS industries. + Hands-on expertise in SAP PP and MM modules. + Strong team leadership skills with experience in managing teams. + A proactive and well-organized approach to planning and execution. + Availability during production hours to support business needs effectively **Danfoss – Engineering Tomorrow** At Danfoss, we are engineering solutions that allow the world to use resources in smarter ways - driving the sustainable transformation of tomorrow.
