Your role:
Lead the software team throughout the development process in support of product releases that meet customer needs, cost goals, quality goals, and schedule constraints. Develop skills and improve effectiveness of engineers on the team.Perform various management tasks including budgeting, performance appraisal, salary administration, hiring, and employee coaching and performance management.Take project management responsibility for project releases to support our product roadmap.Coordinate efforts with other areas of the Ultrasound business, including other functional contribution; or participate in and contribute to Philips-wide or cross-business product development initiatives.Execute on the organization’s strategy, providing clearly defined success criteria and levels of accountability for individuals in the team. Remove impediments for the progress of the teams and act as escalation point.You're the right fit if:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.8+ years of software development experience. Past experience in C++ is preferred.5+ years of experience leading software development efforts both as a Technical and strong Functional leaderExperience with Agile practices such Scrum and Stand-up meetings, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is preferredExperience with development of devices is key, medical and regulated knowledge is a plusYou must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.How we work together

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in (Cambridge, MA) is $145,000 to $248,000.00.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
