The RoleResponsible for managing the overall day-to-day functions of the Sports book: hiring, scheduling, training, mentoring employees, ensuring a progressive culture and the highest level of customer service. This role will work closely with Senior Property Executives, VIP hosts, Marketing, Accounting, iGaming while ensuring compliance with all departmental policies and procedures. The individual must demonstrate leadership and the ability to make challenging decisions while maximizing opportunities for successful operations. Responsible for the operation and conduct of the sports wagering lounge pursuant to N.J.A.C.13:69D-1.11(b) 8 for Bally’s Atlantic City.Responsibilities:
Create wagering policies and limits of the Sportsbook while working with casino operations team.
Ensure all AML & Title 31 procedures are followed and tracked accurately. Interview potential employees, hiring new sportsbook staff, and train all personnel within Sportsbook Operations Coaches, guides and instructs personnel in the proper performance of duties. Administers evaluations, performance reviews and merit compensation within established guidelines. Maintains work schedules for assigned personnel. Develops and manages operating plan to ensure operating expenses meet established forecast goals. Monitors competitors’ practices and technological innovations affecting the Sports book betting industry. Remains aware of legislative action affecting business opportunities. Ensures customer recognition and development are foremost duties for all personnel, using tools available appropriately. Ensures that departmental procedures conform to all regulatory requirements and provide maximum security for the company’s assets. Ensures facilities and equipment are available and functioning. Create a fun, positive work environment for all employees. Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
