The supply chain Manager will be responsible to Lead & manage a team of Sourcing and Supplier Quality Engineers/Managers to establish and implement sourcing strategies to accomplish AP & site goals and objectives.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Lead & develop a team of Sourcing and Supplier Quality Engineers/Managers to establish and implement sourcing strategies to accomplish AP & site goals and objectives. Identify leveraging opportunities for common commodities between India and other PRM sites optimize cost and service performance. Prioritize the projects (which are NPD, Regionalization, Localization, Cost Containment and Risk Mitigation Projects) and assigned to the right Procurement team member. Drives projects to meet target completion date. Review suppliers’ performance on lead time, service level and quality performance. Initiate specific programs, projects to meet/exceed goals and objectives. Conduct business reviews with critical/key suppliers on a periodical basis to exercise/maintain positive Supplier Relationship Management. Orchestrate suppliers’ trainings and development that require advancement. Implement consistent and sustaining processes within India Site (eg well-adapted project management) to optimize waste reduction and resources. Educate team members to understand & improve the utilization of all of Emerson’s procurement systems, metrics and reports. Identify and formulate long term strategies by commodity for major commodities. This requires collaboration with Supply Chain Director and Commodity Leaders. Develop a system to supervise material cost of key products and drive cost reduction by product. Collaborate with Project Team to achieve Leadtime/On time/Cost and payment term. Identify and develop potential candidates for growth and development for career progression program. Ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Supply Chain Director and/or Management.Who You Are:

Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferable in Engineering. Minimum 10 years products sourcing experience of Die Casting, Sand Casting, Stamping, Machining, Springs, Investment Castings, Molded Rubber, Custom Molded Plastics, Valves in multinational company. Proven experience in a Managerial Capacity in MNC with Consistent Track Record. Possesses prior People management experience. Excellent negotiation and project management skill. Strong competencies such as Accountability, Committed, Result-Driven, Plans & aligns, Resourcefulness, Builds Effective Team is a must. Familiar with ISO9001 and ISO14001 Management System, as well as the requirements of Corporate Safety Management and Occupational Health Management is preferred. Good command of English (written/oral) and PC skills such as Excel and PowerPoint.Our Offer to you:
