Manager - Supply Chain Finance

The Manager- Supply Chain Finance will provide critical financial and analytical support to the supply chain procurement team. Key responsibilities will include establishing financial models and processes to aid in evaluation of RFP cost proposals and budgeting COGS impacts. In addition to managing financial analyses, the role will create and be responsible for reporting to senior management on RFP outcomes. The role will be a new function and will require a candidate who is comfortable building out new processes and supporting change management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Create and establish new processes and models for evaluation cost proposals in supply chain RFPs and support decision making processProvide financial reporting on outcomes of RFPs for supply chain and company leadershipSupport Annual Budget process for COGS market basket, and work with FP&A.  Build, assess and understand key Budget assumptions developed within the team and in coordination with supply chain operations.  Partner with the Supply Chain Leadership Team to ensure assumptions are understood and align with targetsSupport GPO teamPrepare presentations summarizing negotiation outcomes and impacts to budget/forecastManage the activities and output of a Senior Financial Analyst.  Responsibilities include employee development, communication, formal performance appraisals, and project managementParticipate in special projects as neededEnhance financial analysis and reportingCreate ad hoc reporting as requestedProvide excellent customer service to Supply Chain team and Support Center

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum: 4 yr degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related fieldPreferred:  A Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum: 4-6+ years experience in relevant work experience including finance, accounting, and/or operational analysisPreferred: 2+ years supervisory experiencePreferred: COGS/Procurement analysis experience

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.  Working knowledge of database applications including Microsoft Access as well as Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft OutlookStrong technical, analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong listening, communication and influencing skillsAdvanced understanding and working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and analysisSound knowledge of accounting and accounting principlesStrong curiosity with continuous improvement mindset and drive to support others with highly relevant / actionable insights

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES

Oracle CloudExperience with Enterprise software, planning software (ePBCS), financial consolidation software, and relational databasesSQL (preferred, not required)PowerBI (preferred, not required)

Responsible for 1 or 2 direct reports: Senior Financial Analyst and/or Financial Analyst
