EquipmentShare is Hiring a Manager Supply Chain Planning & Purchasing EquipmentShare is searching for a Manager Supply Chain Planning & Purchasing for our corporate office in Columbia, MO, to support our team as the department continues to grow. Salary range: $101k-$142k. Factors including past experience and location may affect final compensation rate. Job Summary: This role is required to solve a variety of problems that may arise, including but not limited to, change in customer demands and service levels, frequent analysis based on what-if scenarios, seasonal changes in demand, and is required coordination with overseas vendors to better improve the performance of the S&OP process and optimize the supply to fulfill customer’s expectations. Management of personnel assigned to their team. Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes. Responsible for building and leading the Demand & Supply Planning Team – supporting the Distribution Center as well as all parts and supply planning. Duties/Responsibilities: + Support organizational goals to ensure on-time delivery of product + Champion system utilization, best practices and consistency throughout the corporation. + Be recognized as a D365 and PBI subject matter expert in their areas of responsibility. + Provide analytical and direct support to Brand and NPD team + Work cross-functionally to identify opportunities for inventory reduction + Responsible for Item Master integrity, consistency and maintenance. + M aintain and analyze details of pricing, MOQ, lead time, terms and conditions for each supplier in system + Working cross functionally to recommend changes as needed to supplier terms + Report and regularly communicate with leadership about any potential delivery obstacles including product development, production, shipping delays, etc. + Assist in risk assessment and mitigation activities related to production and shipping + Assist in quantifying and defining scope for capacity, resource, logistics, and supply chain planning. + Build strong working relationships with peers, global suppliers, and vendors. + Partner closely with Demand planners and factories to ensure company sale requirements for products are met on a timely basis at optimum inventory level + Ensure global replenishment is at target stock levels and quick turn around + Push and pull the delivery schedule to ensure the company has the right product at the right place and the right time. + Manage Purchasing Team daily activities. Education and Experience: + Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Management, or similar discipline or at least 8 years of equivalent experience + At least 10 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain management + Minimum 5 years of experience leading a team of direct reports + Extensive experience in ERP &/or MSD-365; MS office applications ASCM/APICS or similar certification preferred + Lean Six Sigma or Process Improvement experience/knowledge is a plus Physical Requirements: + Ability to travel as required. + Ability to work outside of core business hours as required. + Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time in front of a computer. + Ability to move about the facility on a regular basis to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing, or walking. + Visual and hearing acuity.
