Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager Supply Chain Programs 3 to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals within our STRIKE Division Global Supply Chain organization. This leadership role is located onsite in Palmdale, CA with travel.

Execution:

Provides leadership for the STRIKE organization in a matrixed environment, ensuring strategies and plans are aligned with the business unitLeads process improvement initiatives and optimization effortsWill participate in leadership meetings, collaborating across functions for supply chain solutions

Position Responsibilities:

Acts as the main focal point to an IPT for the entire supply chain and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliersDevelops the material strategy and leads the activities for GSC in all phases of the program lifecycleEnsures that prior to program execution, all elements of the proposed program(s) plans have complete and accurate schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, and procurement and subcontracts strategiesLeads supply chain Program execution and is accountable for resource planning, material cost, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and supply chain issue resolutionBriefs the IPT’s and executive management on the status of part shortages and supplier challenges affecting Program cost and schedule performanceCross functional coordination as it pertains to supplier management, specifically with Operations, Quality, Procurement, and IPT leads

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 7 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment, proposals or procurement, OR a master’s degree with at least 5 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment, proposals or procurement OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with at least 10 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment, proposals or procurementMust have a minimum of 5 years’ experience leading a team, process, and/or projectsMust have previous experience in Supply ChainAt minimum, an active DoD Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs

Preferred Requirements:

Strong communications skills with the ability to lead, influence, and collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholdersExperience with a broad range of supply chain issues, including supplier management, risk management, large and complex proposals, terms and conditions, negotiations, contract types (fixed price and cost type), and post award managementDemonstrated experience developing and growing teams and shaping a performing cultureDemonstrated success in managing large, complex programs and/or organizations

Salary Range: $170,000.00 - $255,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
