**TRAVEL TO ALL HOME CARE BRANCHES TO INCLUDING NORWICH, GLASTONBURY AND WALLINGFORD**
Summary of Position: This position is responsible and accountable for the management and coordination all of support service functions in Oversees the workload of the support services staff and assists them to insure agency processes are consistent and followed across the agency. Develops and implements solutions to more complex issues to meet the needs of the agency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees all administrative/non-clinical needs of all Masonicare Home Health & Hospice branches. Ensure assigned staff adhere to all policies, procedures and regulatory standards for both home health and hospice.Oversee the support services staff to ensure that their workflow is appropriate and completed as defined in the agency’s guidelines. Develop and implement workflow processes and communicate changes to all levels of staff in a clear, concise manner. Participates in setting standards for all support services performance objectives Responsible for the selection, training and supervision of department personnel. Assumes an active role in the professional development of assigned staff, including participation in orientation, ongoing skill development and other mentoring activities. Responsible for maintaining an office environment that fosters the professional growth and development of assigned staff. Implements corrective action as needed. Evaluates employee performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions; motivates and recognizes employees to achieve peak productivity and performance. Performs staff quality assurance reviews to evaluate performance and provide appropriate feedback. Works collaboratively with other members of the Management Team to plan for and implement improvement measures. Monitor and report the results of changes in a timely and accurate manner. Oversees Administrative functions of all Masonicare Home Health & Hospice branches, including but not limited to:Oversees the maintenance of clinical records, both paper and electronic documents in compliance with State and Federal Regulations.Oversee ordering of Telemonitoring and other equipment as neededInsure office reception and telephone communication is managed in a professional and efficient mannerInsure photocopying/faxing are completed timely and appropriatelyOversee ordering of office supplies and routine medical supplies as neededEnsures reports are run on a timely basis and distributed as appropriate Performs all Support Services functions as identified area and/or back up for staff absences. Assists with the Contract Management process for Masonicare Home Health & Hospice Communicates effectively and tactfully with clients, recognizing their age, cultural diversity, needs, abilities and physical condition.Can be depended upon to report to work on-time, use time off appropriately, and complete annual education & medical requirements.Participates in designated committees as assigned.Works on special projects as assigned. Performs other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience: 5-7 years related work experience in home health or hospice; minimum 3-5 years demonstrated supervisory experience
