Inviting applications for the role of Manager - Taxation
We are looking for a tax professional with relevant work experience and good working knowledge of corporate income tax and GST concepts. Job responsibilities include managing tax compliance, litigation and supporting business on tax matters:
Responsibilities
• GST compliances including filing of monthly returns, annual returns, ISD returns, etc
• Support GST refunds process and monitoring
• Corporate tax compliances including filing of tax returns, supporting tax audit, TDS and transfer pricing compliance.
• Support corporate tax assessments and litigation
• Support GST audits and litigation
• Support other statutory reporting
• Support tax accounting
• Advice business of tax implications
• Support tax planning and drive efficiency
• Handle inquiries from tax authorities
• Track and follow up on legislative changes
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
• Chartered Accountant with relevant work experience in taxation
• Good communication skills (in writing and speaking) of English
• Proactive attitude to identify and analyze problems, to make logical, fact-based decisions
• Openness to new concepts and ideas, willingness to learn and use new procedures and technologies
• Good analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent time management
• Professional, emotionally mature and ethical, social skills and ability to work well with a broad range of personality styles and types
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work on strict deadlines in a dynamic/fast paced business environment while being a good team player
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience in GST compliance and litigation
• Prior experience in corporate tax compliance and litigation an added advantage
