The results of the Know Your Third Party (KY3P) screening will directly support the business in the delivery of Arcadis’ strategy by making informed and sustainable choices in partnering with third parties in accordance with our risk appetite and in compliance with external laws and regulations.
Arcadis’ values, ambitions, and strategic objectives in the areas of sanctions, sustainability (environment), modern slavery, human rights, anti-bribery and corruption (ABC), anti-money laundering (AML), ultimate beneficial owners (UBOs), politically exposed persons (PEPs), financial health, payment/credit risk, adverse media, information/cybersecurity, health and safety (H&S), and privacy, along with current, new, and changing regulations, demand a holistic approach to client, supplier, and other business partner due diligence screening. To realize these ambitions Arcadis has decided to implement a central team of experts to perform globally harmonized third-party due diligence processes on behalf of several functions.
Currently, there are different third-party screening approaches and tools used across global businesses and functions. It is the objective of the KY3P program to develop and implement a centralized screening approach and process to be compliant with external laws and regulations and our own internal standards and core values.
This newly created role will lead an initial team of 5-8 people in the GSSC to implement the centralized client, supplier, and business partner due diligence processes on behalf of several Arcadis functions, such as Growth, Procurement, Finance, and Compliance. In 2024 the role will also participate in developing and implementing this new global approach and process and will manage the onboarding of the centralized KY3P team in the GSSC in Manila. The role will closely collaborate with the Pursuit to Project team to confirm the full embedding of KY3P in business processes ensuring design & operational effectiveness.

Role accountabilities:
The role will assume the operational responsibility for the centralized KY3P team and will ensure the KY3P Procedures and Work Instructions under the global Third Parties Due Diligence Policy are met, and the process performance is monitored and continuously improved. This requires stakeholder engagement with global leaders of many functions and the management of a complex process with a local team.
The GSSC Team Lead Third Party Due Diligence Operations will
Support the development and implementation of the global KY3P approach and process. Be a key member of the global KY3P project team to develop the KY3P approach and global standardized processes. Interview candidates and build the global KY3P team. Lead the global KY3P operations. Lead the centralized KY3P team to execute the KY3P process and work instructions. Monitor the process performance and engage with the functional stakeholders on the process performance and agreed work instructions. Provide effective and efficient due diligence results to stakeholders. Ensure outcomes are clearly understood and potential risks and mitigation measures are flagged and escalated (if needed). Engage with stakeholders to understand new and changing requirements and adjust the process and tools to comply with the new demands. Liaise with the master data management (data improvement) team and align ways of working to ensure screening outcomes are updated in the master data. Identify and lead KY3P process and tools improvement opportunities. Continuously improve process efficiency and drive further process automation. Liaise with the Pursuit to Project team and align processes to ensure screening is fully embedded in existing and new business processes.Qualifications & Experience:
It is essential that the candidate has an affinity with the KY3P topic as well as a proven strength and track record in project performance-related activities, plan development, management reporting, and logistics.
