**Job Responsibilities:**
+ **Import / Export Complianc** e - Interface with the Company’s factories, subsidiaries, branches, and other departments to measure, report, and continuously reduce the risk of non-compliance. Investigate all discrepancies discovered internally or externally and take appropriate corrective action. Manage, guidance, and report on the quality and validity of trade policies and procedures, documentation, certifications, special trade programs and recordkeeping. Investigate and implement cost savings opportunities by analyzing costs associated with international trade, supporting tariff optimization during product development, and any other potential cost savings. Manage and report on the services and business practices of customs brokers and forwarders. Monitor the benefits of regulatory programs and Company participation. Manage international entities and lead the global trade subcommittee to improve international business activities and performance. Inform management of performance metrics and compliance risks, while providing recommended corrective action and continuous improvement. Conduct the annual compliance risk assessment update meeting to senior management.
+ **Supply Chain Security** - Maintain certifications in supply chain security programs. Collaborate with appropriate cross functional departments to develop and publish the annual supply chain risk assessment and complete the required annual CBP security profile updates. Utilize RiskMethods to analyze, monitor, and obtain alerts on key business partners including logistics and brokerage providers, pinch points, and infrastructure in the supply chain. Proactively research and implement technology and process improvements in supply chain security. Investigate security breaches in the supply chain and work cross functionally to implement corrective actions. Build strong relationships with government entities and business partners at key border crossings.
+ **Policies and Procedures** - Continuously improve the Import Compliance, Export Compliance, and Supply Chain Security manuals to ensure best practices and compliance to government regulations. Work cross functionally on general and specific educational courses for compliance, supply chain security, and international trade.
+ **Employee Development** - Ensure on-going feedback to and development of team members by selecting, empowering, coaching, motivating, and retaining qualified employees. Perform duties such as creating/revising job descriptions, conducting Talent Development discussion sessions, rating performance, establishing/tracking goals and completing annual wage reviews. Responsible for coaching, motivating, mentoring, and developing direct reports to successfully take on additional responsibilities.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ 8-15 years related experience
+ Bachelor’s Degree (Business or Supply Chain)
Non-degree considered if 12+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED
+ Frequent travel & overnight stays (6-20%)
+ Excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism, leadership and management skills
+ Ability to organize conferences, speak in front of groups and provide educational classes on various topics
+ Work as a contributing team member on cross functional and multi national teams and successfully interact with various government agencies
**Primary Qualifications:**
+ Possess Broker and Forwarder Licenses.
+ Possess a US Customs Brokers License.
