Manager V, Process Support Engineer - (M5)

Role Responsibilities:  

Engage with customers to understand their roadmap, interpret their technology needs and identify opportunities for Applied Materials’ engagement   Drive the adoption of new technology at the customer site, utilizing demos, on-site evaluations, joint development programs and new tool qualifications  Serve as a liaison between the customer and the business unit for assigned projects, ensuring a clear understanding of customer issues and the delivery of applicable solutions  Lead teams in providing high-visibility customer support through on-site installations, system diagnoses, and the service and repair of complex systems and equipment  Work closely with the customer to develop leading-edge processes to manufacture the most advanced semiconductor chip, with equipment optimized to their needs  Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE); analyze data with statistics; and compile reports with high-level conclusions on technically challenging process engineering experiments  Oversee the troubleshooting of complex problems; perform multiple root cause analysis; and resolve a variety of difficult process engineering and customer product issues   Apply your extensive knowledge of best practices, business challenges and regulatory issues to identify innovative solutions and recommend improvements to processes or products 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Material Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Photonics and Optoelectronics7-15 years of experience in the semiconductor fab or equipment industry , preferred to have ETCH tool experience Strong leadership skills to guide others in problem-solving, lead complex projects, and develop strategies for project execution . Strong customer engagement capability to build-up long-term relationship, preferred to have TSMC customer experienceExcellent interpersonal skills to communicate difficult concepts, anticipate potential objections, and persuades others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view  Communication proficiency in English language
