Ensures that all activities performed align with the vision of Elara Caring’s board of directors, executive team, and the leadership of the Personal Care Services teamRecruits, interviews, hires, provides orientation, and on-going training for community liaison team members.Leads VA account development including direct involvement with major regional accounts, large hospitals, healthcare systems, physician practices, managed care organizations, employer consortiums, and other referral sources.Oversees that the patient care coordinator staff documents sales activity per corporate standards including pre-call plans, schedules, account profiles, weekly mileage, and action plans, etc.Educates physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, regarding regulations of home care & hospice industry, agency policies, and informs vendors on scope of service.Obtains VA medical forms and records from physician offices or medical facilities and facilitates patient care communications by informing physician’s & facilities on patient summary of care.Sets effective goals and priorities while monitoring progress against plans and productivity standards.Identifies and closes new business opportunities for the company meeting established sales objectives.Maintains a regular presence in each of the accounts within the territory to retain existing accounts. Add Key Provides the company with feedback regarding competitive activity and other relevant information.Receives referrals from VA physicians, hospitals, and other agencies and relays call information to intake.Serves as a liaison between the agency, VA physicians, facilities, referral sources, and hospitals in the community.What is Required?
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Health related field is preferred, an equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.5+ years’ experience in salesSales Management experience is preferred.Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and OutlookPractical and theoretical knowledge of home health and/or hospice.Ability to travel up to 15% including overnight stays.You will report to the Regional Vice President.
