Responsibilities
Summary:
Implements volunteer programs in order to assist staff to uphold the mission, vision and values of Dignity Health. Manages the recruiting, training and scheduling of volunteers. Provides volunteers for community outreach activities as needed. Assists the director in deploying initiatives as neededImplements volunteer recruiting and training strategies and promotes them throughout the organizationMonitors the implementation of volunteer programs to ensure adequate and proper compliance with regulatory requirementsCoordinates the scheduling and continual recruitment of volunteers to support programsDeploys volunteer-specific orientation, training, competencies and continuing educationQualifications
Required:
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in related volunteer services in a supervisory, management or leadership role including recruiting orienting, and training volunteers and employees. Experience in project management, event planning, budget administration and program developmentBachelor's degree or a combination of education and/or additional job related experience in lieu of the degree
