MANAGER VOLUNTEER & STUDENT SERVICES

The Volunteer Manager is a key collaborator in planning, developing, implementing and evaluating the scope of volunteer services and non-credit bearing student activities at the Medical Center. The position supports the Assistant Director in supervising junior staff with volunteer processing, providing guidance and training when necessary. The Volunteer Manager will be point person for established partnerships with schools and community-based organizations, as well as Montefiore volunteer programs. Manager will work closely with clients in the hospitals to develop and improve all programs, including patient care. Role includes travel between MMC hospitals to increase department presence and services to volunteers across all campuses. 

 

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required (Master's Degree Preferred)
- Bilingual preferred (Spanish)
- Five years of experience in healthcare industry
- Customer Service experience 

- Understands operations and TJC rules

- Attention to details

 - Interact with departments to troubleshoot/explore new placements.
