Deliver operating targets including ad-hoc projects for the Wardrobe team by focusing on service quality, high standards of uniform presentation along with business growth. Building and fostering relationship with our key business partners is the critical component of the role; which leads the team to provide shared services across the property
Primary Responsibility• Ensure operations within team are efficiently and professionally managed
• Manage proper workflow of operating teams, including but not limited to Supervisors and Seamstresses
• Work closely with supporting departments to ensure the delivery of efficient and professional services
• Manage the deliverables to hotel partners to meet company standard by working closely with hotel senior management
• KPI to be delivered and ensure quality standards and productivity is in place
• Ensure efficiency in uniform distribution process with Department Operating Manuals and Specific Operating procedures are in place
• Demonstrate knowledge and know-how on mastering garment and fabric usage with relevant technique and equipment
• Perform tasks/duties as assigned by superior, and including special request by business units for all kind of uniform changes
• Constantly work on developing new and efficient methods to handle departmental uniform / promotional events requests in considering uniform costs
• Work closely with grooming team to assist projects (e.g. uniform faction show) and events with appropriate uniforms or support to cope with design issues
• Identify, review and facilitate training programs for team members on new operation techniques to enhance productivity and streamline work flow
• Plan for preventative maintenance program for conveyors to ensure it is function smoothly
• Implement company energy management program for cost saving
• Create opportunities within teams to leverage resources for cost saving initiatives
• Ensure all computers/ systems are functionable to support Wardrobe operation needs
• Maintain an effective inventory record by conducting regular physical inventory checks
• Maintain a professional working relationship with all colleagues and support superior for team member development plan
• Prepare and update all policies and procedures based on business needs
• Perform other duties as required
• Minimum secondary level educational, however, a degree in related field will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of operating wardrobe, laundry, or relevant operations; solid work experience as Seamstress / Tailor will be preferred
• Computer skills is required for wardrobe operations
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Speak / write in English would be an advantage
• 3 years Supervisory experience in related industry managing a large team
