What You'll Do We are looking for an experienced and proactive AEM Content Specialist to oversee the managing the creation, editing, and maintenance of digital content within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) utilized in production for our publishing platform, avalara.com, as well as related digital touchpoints across Marketing. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Design Production team and Digital Production team, providing support and guidance to internal stakeholders in creating and managing digital content for the production process. This includes ensuring content accuracy, clarity, and alignment with brand guidelines prior to publication. Collaborating closely with content creators, editors, and the eCommerce team, you will ensure all digital content meets quality standards and is optimized for an exceptional user experience. What Your Responsibilities Will Be Lead a team of AEM content authors and specialists, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Allocate resources effectively, set clear performance expectations, and conduct regular reviews to track team progress. Oversee the creation, editing, and publishing of web pages and components within AEM, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines, accuracy, and user experience standards. Ensure the team follows best practices in utilizing AEM templates, components, and workflows for content management. Manage content-related requests and tickets through tools like Jira, ensuring efficient resolution and stakeholder satisfaction. Work closely with content creators, designers, developers, and marketing teams to align content efforts with overall business goals. Act as the primary liaison between the Page Build Team and other departments to streamline communication and ensure clarity on requirements. Provide regular reports to senior management on team performance, project status, and key achievements. You will be reporting to Senior Manager - Engineering What You'll Need to be Successful 7+ years of experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including page building, content management, and workflows. You should have experience in AEM 6.5 or AEM Cloud Experience with web content production processes, usability principles, and SEO best practices. Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira or similar systems. Experience with web production and content development, with a strong portfolio showcasing technical expertise.
