Manager Workplaces Financial Management - Temp until end of December 2025 (m/f/d)
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Workplaces is responsible for the active management of the Global Real Estate Portfolio including leases and transactions of all the properties, all design, construction and operations for offices, showrooms and DC’s for adidas. The function ensures that we create and operate our Workplaces in a way that the best work environment for our employees is provided over the entire real estate lifecycle.

 

This role is responsible for the operational Workplaces Financial Management for all regional and global teams, leading and implementing Financial processes focused on budget planning, KPIs, adidas Purchasing Tool Ariba Guided Buying, SAP, Capital Investment Requests,  IFRS-16 compliance, taxes, insurance and all other Financial processes. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain integrity of all Workplaces annual costs/budgeting and dynamic forecasting processes for Operational Expenses (OPEX) and Capital Expenditures (CAPEX) Accountable for quarterly/annual Workplaces financial forecasts and budgeting activities ensuring Data Accuracy in collabroration with all Workplaces Teams according to Financial Planning Calendar and in close collaboration with Finance/Controlling Maintain annual Workplaces Forecast File (technical Maintenance) Responsible for cascading information from Finance Controlling to the Workplaces team Partner with key stakeholders across all regions and gover consistent commercial management procedures, standards and policies for all Workplaces managed adidas locations Develop and foster effective working relationship with stakeholders within Workplaces, HR, Controlling, Non Trade Procurement and all other key partners Provide Commercial Management Support for Workplaces Global Functions incl. Year End Activities Support strategic financial projects and initiatives within Workplaces Support Total Cost of Ownership activities

Know how to set priorities in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines and show the neccarry resilence Flexibility, Engagement, Assertivness and Understanding of the Complexity, Interaction Dynamics in an international working environment Strong multi-tasking and time management skills  Strong team player and the ability to work with diverse groups of people productively Very good English language skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders globally Strong ability to organize and maintain data / Problem solving and analysis skills Solid accounting skills and experience in Finance Advanced excel skills required Advanced Powerpoint and presentation development skills Strong Knowledge of MS Office, Smart Sheet and SAP Ability to create reports in a presentable manner to multiple different stakeholders Ability to present information and respond to questions from senior executives, stakeholders, cross functional business leaders, peers, clients and customers. Very good communication skills

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

University Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Minimum 5 years of experience in similar role Exposure to Corporate Real Estate, Finance, and/or Project Management Will accept any equitable combination of education, experience and training
