Managing Director, Financial Due Diligence

Our Financial Due Diligence services include quality of revenue and quality of earnings analyses, assistance with net working capital target and settlement negotiations, assistance with securities purchase agreements and post-merger integration services.

Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a Managing Director, Financial Due Diligence for our expanding Financial Due Diligence practice. Managing Directors are expected to effectively leverage and manage all members of their team on a variety of engagements. Primary responsibilities will be sourcing, scoping and managing due diligence engagements; executing deliverables; maintaining existing client relationships; forming new client relationships; communication of project status to team members and development and training of the team internally.

Responsibilities:

Properly scope all engagements from a size, schedule and cost perspective to ensure a profitable engagement.Lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements, providing financial due diligence assistance and advisory services to publicly traded companies, non-public corporations, private equity investors, special purpose acquisition corporations and investment banks across the U.S.Provide timely status updates to all project team members tailoring the information to the respective level (i.e., staff or Managing Director) based on their need.Lead / manage business development activities with corporate, private equity clients and investment banks.Develop and implement effective engagement communication to clients and ensure compliance by all team members.Communicate all aspects of engagements with staff members on each of their respective engagements.Demonstrate and maintain a high level of understanding and competence across numerous healthcare segments.Uphold values of integrity, professionalism, and respect towards all clients, superiors, administrative staff, and subordinates.Ensure all engagements are on schedule through setting of internal deadlines and communication with team members.

Requirements:

A minimum of eight (10) years of experience with a Big Four, or a national consulting firm with experience in performing M&A / Transaction Advisory Services.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration from an accredited college/university.CPA certification.Having an existing book-of-business / client base is a plus, but not required. Strong current knowledge in U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), current audit and accounting concepts, mergers and acquisitions and transaction services.Extensive analytical and project management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to travel as needed.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
