Managing Director, Marketing (Fundraising and Development)

As the Managing Director, Marketing for Fundraising & Development, you’ll play a key leadership role on the Stand Together Marketing and Communications team and be responsible for the development and delivery of innovative marketing strategies that directly advance the organization’s fundraising and development initiatives. You will collaborate with key stakeholders on our best-in-class Development Team to build integrated MarComms plans that drive substantial growth and achievement of fundraising objectives through engagement with existing and new donor partners. The ideal candidate possesses strong fundraising knowledge, a deep grasp of B2B audience marketing principles/strategies/tactics, and a commitment to driving positive societal change through bottom-up empowerment. This position partners with our core MarComms capabilities to ensure we have consistent and impactful messaging, multi-channel campaign optimization, and frameworks that inform audience journeys.What You Will DoPartner with the Development team to develop strategic and integrated, multi-channel MarComms plans to achieve department goals within allotted timelines.Build audience journeys that create visibility for various stages of partner decision-making and guide how marketing and development teams work together to engage prospective and existing partners. Work closely with ST’s Research and Analytics team and Development Operations to identify target segments, audiences, and insights. In partnership with the Creative team, develop content strategies and creative concepts that resonate with donor audiences and inspire engagement and action towards Stand Together’s vision and priorities.Oversee the creation and execution of sales enablement collateral including pitch decks, brochures, videos, testimonials, content, etc. In partnership with the Events team, oversee execution and support of Development events.Partner with the demand gen team to inform a strategy that drives donor acquisition, retention, and engagement while creating opportunities for investment cross-pollination where appropriate.
