Managing Director, National Tax Office-Global Employer Services

Job Summary:

The Tax Managing Director, NTO Advisory Global Employer Services will apply industry knowledge and experience in working with clients of the Firm providing executive compensation advisory services to high level executives, board members, and senior management. The individual in the role will be a critical part of the office's/region's Tax Services leadership team. The Tax Managing Director will be responsible for teaching, instructing, and reviewing the work of those with less experience. The role will be the main client contact for compensation consulting and complex questions and information.  The role will also be responsible for marketing, networking, and business development within their area of experience and expertise with the help of our Business Development team, as well as maintaining key client relationships.

Job Duties:

Applies knowledge and expertise to assist internal and external clients  Coordinates with NTO, tax leadership and BDO firm leadership to execute  the tax communication strategy  Assists in developing and implement firm wide training programs for staff through principal in area of expertise  Other duties as required

   Strategy Development

Introduces and develops new or innovative ideas to improve the position of clients, the Firm or the Firm’s team members Designs and implements compensation and benefit structures Consistently makes suggestions as to how previous work products or approaches can be improved Researches and implements strategies, including experimentation with promising  new strategies and ideas Presents complex strategies to clients and prospective clients Leads marketing campaigns Presents to BDO Boards and management on recommendations of compensation and benefit structures Advises clients of the firm on executive pay principles grounded in best practice Tailors compensation programs for clients of the Firm to effectively meet client needs Provides clients with appropriate pay data aligned with key business initiatives and benchmarked across the industry  Other duties as required

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Reviews the work of associates, senior associates, and managers, as needed Develops and manages a team of associates, senior associates, and managers

 

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree, required MST/MBT, preferred

Experience:

Eight (8) or more years of prior work experience, in public accounting or a related professional services firm, required

License/Certifications:

N/A

Software:

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products including Windows Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, required

Language:

N/A
