JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Managing Director, Owned Asset Marketing is responsible for leading the overall marketing strategy and execution for the owned asset portfolio of the organization. This role ensures that marketing efforts align with business objectives, drive revenue growth, and build a strong brand presence, while serving as a strategic leader to test, optimize and collaborate on new initiatives that include owned assets. The Managing Director, Owned Asset Marketing will oversee the owned asset property marketing team (nationally), manage budgets (consisting of revenue and expense goals at the national level, as well as property budgets), and collaborate with other departments to ensure a unified approach to market engagement.This role will work directly with development, investment, operations, national shared services and office of the COO leaders and teams, serving in a leadership capacity in presenting, communicating and collaborating on high-level Greystar initiatives as it pertains to best-in-class, modern marketing strategies, efforts and tactics. They will serve as a key contributor and advocate across stakeholders, building solid relationships, communication and trust. Deep performance analysis and recommendations will also serve as a key area of focus, to ensure the owned asset portfolio leadership and clients have a clear understanding of property performance along with recommendations and strategies to drive on-going performance and optimization. Property performance from a marketing perspective will need to be connected to business-driven outcomes, as it relates to multifamily business metrics (i.e., occupancy rates, etc.).
Property level site visits and engagement are key in understanding daily challenges and in further unification of our onsite teams with marketing. The Managing Director, Owned Asset Marketing will serve as a key transformational leader and visionary, working alongside other key leaders to re-imagine, build, transform and develop strategy, new ways of working, products, processes and approaches – all to create exponential ROI.

Additional Compensation:
Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.
Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
