Managing Director, Private Credit

**Job Description**
**Responsibilities** :
+ With guidance from the Private Credit business leader, work cross-functionally and collaboratively with relevant RJIM departments to help develop and execute a comprehensive private credit business, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
+ In consultation with Private Credit business leader, develop direct loan criteria and portfolio construction framework, re-evaluating framework at regular intervals.
+ Foster relationships with investment fund managers to receive and evaluate co-investment opportunities.
+ Establish relationships with additional originating lenders, including investment managers and banks, to build a diverse pipeline of direct loan opportunities.
+ Lead direct investment due diligence, including review, evaluation and synthesis of information and analysis provided by originating lenders, and recommendations to the investment committee.
+ Work with the heads of Finance and Operations to establish and implement systems and processes for funding and monitoring direct investments.
+ Develop and implement framework for managing post-close requirements, including, without limitation, additional funding, amendments and workouts.
+ Monitor and disseminate market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decisions.
+ When investments are approved by the committee, lead investment process, including review and execution of loan documentation, leveraging internal resources as appropriate.
+ Support internal constituents as a private credit subject matter expert and build consultative relationships with distribution and portfolio specialists.
+ Actively monitor and evaluate investments on an on-going basis
+ Serve as an internal resource to promote an understanding of the mechanics and processes of private fund structures, how they are utilized in a portfolio, and how to facilitate and execute investments.
+ Work directly with clients and participate in road shows for Private Credit fundraising
+ Provide insights into market demand, competitive landscape, and investor preferences, contributing to the strategic direction of the business.
+ Help design and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential market risks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
+ Stay informed of industry regulations and best practices, adjusting strategies and procedures accordingly.
+ Coach and mentor junior staff, identify training needs and recommend appropriate development programs.
+ Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

+ Advanced concepts, principles and practices used in portfolio management and the securities industry.
+ Fundamental concepts, principles, and practices of relationship management.
+ Financial markets and products.
+ Broker/dealer operations.
**Skill in:**
+ Interpreting and applying policies and procedures
+ Preparing management reports
+ Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, and spreadsheets.
**Ability to:**
+ Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels, including senior management.
+ Organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment with frequent interruptions.

**Education**
Bachelor’s: Business Administration
**Work Experience**
General Experience - More than 15 years
**Certifications**
Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE) - Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA)
**Salary Range**
$175,000.00-$175000000.00
**Travel**
Less than 25%
