Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Managing Director, Private Equity Advisor (IT) to join our team in New York. This role is primarily focused on providing IT and cybersecurity advisory to lower/middle market PE firms, developing and implementing IT and cybersecurity strategies, and managing and growing customer relationships. Responsibilities: • Advise PE firms on IT and cybersecurity issues, including the optimization of technology and the implementation of best practices • Provide guidance on cybersecurity compliance regimes such as NIST, PCI, HIPAA, and CMMC • Manage and expand existing customer relationships within the PE industry • Establish new customer relationships within the PE sector • Serve as the primary point of contact for IT and cybersecurity matters for multiple middle market PE firms • Create standard documents and templates for common engagement types • Train entry level consultants and report writers on efficient consulting engagement execution • Develop and present IT and cybersecurity strategy documents to business executives and boards • Achieve and exceed annual revenue targets and quotas. Requirements • Proven experience in Private Equity, demonstrating a deep understanding of investment strategies and market trends. • Strong background in Business Development, with a focus on identifying and securing new opportunities. • Comprehensive knowledge of go-to-Market Strategy, including the ability to design and implement effective plans. • Proficiency in Cybersecurity compliance, ensuring all IT operations adhere to industry standards and regulations. • Demonstrable experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A), including planning, negotiation, and execution.
