What You'll Do
Reporting to the President of the India & SAARC sales organization, you are responsible for the development and execution of the Enterprise segment sales strategy, including sell-to & sell-through motions where applicable, via both direct and indirect (partner) sales teams. You will work with your peers in Solutions Engineering, Architecture/ Product and Partner teams to design strategies aimed at maximising the success of both Cisco and our Partners in the India Enterprise market.
The role is responsible for product and services sales into Cisco's top accounts in the IT/ ITeS, BFSI, Mfg and O&G segments, enabled through our global, regional and local partners. You have strong passion and organizational gravitas, guiding the India & SAARC leadership team to make strategic decisions because of your influence. Your role requires collaboration and business insight, with the ability to work and leverage across functions, driving the best results for Cisco.
The leader of this organization will be expected to strategically drive Cisco's vision for our customers, as well as maintain an in-depth understanding of the competition, industry practices, market opportunities, and business requirements. You are a thought leader who can drive innovation, expert in managing stakeholders within and around Cisco, builds and grows relationships based on trust, and resolves issues with best intentions and balance.
This is an excellent opportunity to take on a challenging management position with responsibility for both a direct and matrixed team. You are responsible for and will carry the India Enterprise sales target.
Key responsibilities:
* Deep focus on customers- their care-abouts, outcomes and success
* Develop, manage and execute a multi-year sales strategy and plan for the India Enterprise business across all sub segments: IT/ITeS, BFSI, Mfg, Oil & Gas
* Align with WW and Regional strategies across Cisco architectures/ products and evolve the India Enterprise business in line. Leverage the Cisco partner ecosystem in service of the India Enterprise business
* Collaborate deeply, build deep trust, and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to support customers, the team and the business
* Contribute and have impact on the regional strategy with your APJC peers
* Recruit, maintain and develop a high performing and diverse team to run strategic accounts for Cisco through a complex matrix structure, consisting of direct and indirect reports across the India and APJC geographies - including building capability that creates future career opportunities for team members
* Value a team-oriented culture and the diversity of people and their perspectives
* Represent Cisco and be a spokesperson at internal and external engagements as required

You will work closely with the India Enterprise sales organisation to drive sales growth in products and services. You'll also work with Solutions Engineering, Architecture/ Product and Partner teams to ensure the right solutions and expertise are available to clients in the Enteprise segment. Customer Experience will work with you to help end customers adopt and maximise value from our solution deployments. Finally, you'll partner with functional experts to help you execute and operate effectively within the Cisco business.
Who You Are
* You have a minimum of 20 years experience in sales and/or business development with a technology company, with 10 years or more in Country/Regional sales leadership positions.
* You have a strong leadership pedigree, with skills of building and leading large, matrixed, diverse teams of varying experience and capability toward success, career growth and high engagement. You have guided and nurtured team members for their role and have developed team members for future roles via continuous enrichment of existing roles
* You think strategically about business and technology challenges. You have a strong understanding of Key business drivers of Indian Industry & technology landscape, including experience of services & software sales
* You possess both a business and technology background that enables engagement with customer executives of top accounts, understanding their needs, requirements and expectations
* You have proven experience of leading large & complex cross architecture transformation deals
* You strive to provide leadership and executive sponsorship to major enablement activities
* You communicate and build lasting relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customers
* You are a strong leader with demonstrated ability to self-manage and are collaborative in nature
* You have an extraordinary track record in a leadership role of achieving business objectives on a cross functional basis in a fast-paced environment.
* You can influence Cisco's overall direction and strategy in the segment by being part of different cross-functional working groups and forums
* You can grasp the essentials in complex situations and can conceptualize both problems and solutions, using both analytical thinking, reference to facts and best practices
* You are good at identifying key impacts and implications of new information and events and have a global mindset, thinks across disciplines, industries, scenarios, etc. Ability to identify the root cause(s) of a problem, and marshal resources to solve for them in a way that results in the best possible outcome for our business and customers
* You have excellent written, verbal communication, listening and presentation skills. Able to articulate complex ideas and strategies to people at all levels of the organization.
* You effectively define strategy, articulate and communicate vision, and efficiently inspire change. Experience in transforming organizations to make them more efficient and focused. Track record of successful performance as a "change agent"
* Ability to balance strategy with execution priorities through significant systems and process-based business expertise and a drive towards specific outcomes
* Strong executive presence and ability to build credibility and relationships with customer, partner and Cisco executives
