We have exciting opportunities for two experienced consultants to join our Offshore Wind Renewables Advisory division at either Managing or Principal level, providing technical due diligence expertise for global offshore wind transactions. You will manage and execute projects, and play a key role in the generation of revenue opportunities related to both new and existing clients. You’ll also play a core leadership role in professional development by mentoring team members, and assisting the senior leadership team in decisions surrounding strategy, execution and company growth.

Hybrid working is available from any of our 16 UK offices, however you will be best connected with your team if based in Glasgow, London, Bristol or Southampton.

Responsibilities

Manage technical consulting engagements in the renewable energy sector, particularly acquisition due diligence (TDD), vendors due diligence (VDD), and lenders technical advisory (LTA) for offshore wind projects globallyAssemble and lead project teams delivering on complex client engagements, ensuring high quality work products and the effective use of resourcesStructure content, author substantive sections, and direct team contributions to technical reportsLead comprehensive technical due diligence assessments on global renewable energy projectsAssess the feasibility, performance, and risks associated with renewable energy assetsConduct detailed research and analysis on renewable energy related issuesStay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, market trends and best practicesReview construction and operations contracts, methodologies, related programmes and financial modelsPrepare detailed reports and presentations outlining findings for clients and for internal useCollaborate with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive advisory services to clientsBuild, manage, and maintain client relationships, leading to new and repeat business

About you

Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g. Engineering, Renewable Energy, Project Management)Extensive working experience with technical due diligence in the offshore wind sector, including on behalf of financing partiesExcellent conceptual and quantitative/qualitative analytical abilitiesDemonstrated leadership experience, modelling high standards of performance and professionalismTrack record of business development, collaborative sales pursuits, and opportunity generationStrong communication skills, including ability to translate for the attention of a non-technical audienceProficiency with standard industry software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project)Flexibility to travel frequently as required by the business
