What does a Managing Producer do at Hogarth?
The Managing Producer is responsible for overseeing various Producer groups, consisting of Image Producers and Project Coordinators that work across Interactive & Print work streams. These teams are responsible for the production facilitation of content appearing in all of the client's marketing communications both in static and animated form.
The role will report to Director of Content Production. This role will work closely with key Client partners to define scope and define process workflow for the Producer teams and build key relationships internally and externally. This role will also work closely with GEO counterparts to ensure a seamless transition from the master workflow through the localization process.
Key responsibilities:
Provides strategy and planning for upcoming launches and updates to ensure production capabilities are understood and considered. Delivers on agreed recruitment and training strategy for launch. Participate in project kick offs, content meetings, reviews and other project based meetings as needed. Coaches and guides the team of leads Oversees performance management and career development for the various Producer teams Ensure all work is completed to the highest of standards and on time. Be innovative, a champion for change and assist in implementing new workflows. Work with the leadership team to instill the Hogarth values and build the Hogarth culture. Attend all relevant meetings to promote effective communication throughout the production team. Remains current on technology and trends. Actively participates in attracting top talent and employee retention. Continually looks for ways to enhance productivity through process improvements, task automation, and new technology. Lead FY and Quarterly planning of resources for Image Producers, Screen Producers and GEO Alt Producers Leads by example.Requirements:
Ability to partner with senior management to build a company culture and drive change across the organization. Previous experience of managing a team. Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems under pressure. Team player with an interest in process efficiency and effectiveness. Good relationship skills, including dealing with multiple stakeholders and the ability to think on your feet. Excellent attention to detail and highly organized. Strong verbal and written communications skills. Demonstrate the Hogarth Values in all actions and communications. Excellent interpersonal skills. The ability to thrive in an ever changing and dynamic work environment. 12+ years of relevant experience in a creatively driven advertising agency or equivalent in-house teams. Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree and certification in applicable fields a plus. Proven experience in graphic design, marketing, and print production. Demonstrated people-first management style with a high emotional intelligence (EQ). Strong background in training, development, and mentoring teams. Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain composure in challenging situations. Extensive experience in operations and resource management. Minimum of 5 years and 5 or more direct people management experience.At Hogarth California, the base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $110,000 to $146,300/yr. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
