You will support the development of real-time monitoring systems for additive manufacturing processes and for milling / turning processesYour tasks include conceptual design and implementation in python, both for new backend functionality and for the existing codebaseA major focus will be refactoring the code to improve its adaptability and configurabilityOur range of tasks is broad and you are encouraged to try new thingsThe duration of the internship is based on university regulations and should be at least 3 monthsThe internship is full-time and you are expected to work on site at Neuperlach Süd (Munich) at least three days per week 

What you need to make real what matters.

You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in computer science, engineering, mechatronics or a related subjectYou have solid experience in python and you write good-quality code which other people can understandGood knowledge of Linux, git, and Docker is an advantage, as well as some experience of SQL databases and queriesPersonally, you impress us with a high level of initiative, analytical thinking as well as a structured and independent way of workingYou have good English and/or German skills
