Join our team in the preliminary development of innovative approaches for the automation and optimization of process engineering processesYou will use and develop innovative methods and prototype functions in the fields of automation, optimization, and machine learning for sustainable process operationsYou will evaluate prototype functions on suitable example processes and investigate the generalization and transferability to other processesFurthermore, you will apply the innovative ideas to a process engineering research facility.You will significantly support the integration of new functionsThe implementation will be carried out by you using Matlab, Python, and state-of-the-art process simulators

Use your skills to move the world forward.

You are currently successfully studying control engineering, automation technology, electrical and information technology, process engineering, computer science, or a comparable course of studyYou have very good knowledge in the fields of automation technology, simulation technology, process engineering, mathematical modeling and optimization, as well as machine learningYou are motivated and analytical thinking is one of your key competenciesYou are able to efficiently familiarize yourself with new fields of automation technology, control engineering, process engineering, system modeling, and optimization and drive forward innovative ideasIdeally, you have already gained experience with Matlab, Simulink, and PythonWe can rely on your very good German or English skills, both written and spoken 

Starting around April 2025, you would like to begin an exciting and challenging internship. The duration of the internship is based on the study regulations of the respective university. Alternatively, the position can be filled as part of a thesis.
