Job Description

We wish to inform you that DSWD Field Office VII, Cebu City has one (1) vacant Contract of Service position:

MANPOWER DEVELOPMENT OFFICER II 

TERMS OF REFERENCE:

Salary Grade: 15 (P36,619.00)Status of Employment: Contract of ServiceLocation/Office: Home For GirlsProgram/Division/Unit: CRCFNo. of Vacancies: 1  CSC MINIMUM QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:Education: Bachelor's degree relevant to the jobTraining: Four (4) hours of relevant trainingExperience: One (1) year of relevant experienceEligibility: None required   PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Bachelor of Secondary Education/Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology

 

Training: Twenty-four (24) hours of relevant training

Experience: Three (3) years teaching vocational courses

Eligibility: RA 1080 (LPT), RAC NC II holder

 JOB FUNCTIONS:Supervises, directs and coordinates vocational training for the clients;Conducts vocational livelihood skills training to clients;Conducts evaluation and submits periodic reports on client's training progress;Reviews, evaluates, and approves the instructor's lesson plan, instructor aids, adaptive training methods and techniques and improvements;Participates in research and demonstration project related to effective vocational instruction:Participates in the evaluation of the particular training program area as well as in the formulation of policies, objectives and work plans;In coordination with other rehabilitation workers, conducts industrial surveys to observe current trends in industrial plants in order to update the training program;Conducts school survey for school placement of clients whose vocational goals are not met in the vocational rehabilitation facility;Complies instructor's report, makes and submits specific reports on specific training program area;Prepares budget estimates, acquisition of supplies and other needs of the particular training program areas;Attends and participates in conferences, seminars, workshops, staff meeting and community services at the vocational rehabilitation facility;In the absence of the training supervisor, the Manpower Development Officer shall represent her/his in meetings and other responsibilities.
